About
Mark Van Overmeire (Belgium, 1968) is a composer, guitarist, percussionist, and musical storyteller whose work bridges classical tradition, world influences, and contemporary textures. Raised in Bruges, Belgium, he began formal studies at 15, exploring classical guitar, percussion, and classical harmony. Mark's post-minimalist music is both cinematic and intimate, steeped in lyrical beauty yet enriched with rhythmic vitality, a reflection of his dual skill as percussionist and guitarist.
His music has been performed and recorded by a number of world-class artists and ensembles, including:
Skylark Vocal Ensemble, a GRAMMY®-nominated chamber choir
Irina Kulikova, acclaimed classical guitarist
Norbert Kraft, GRAMMY® Award-winning producer

All Mark's music is released on his record label Kramúsica®, an independent label founded with the primary goal of releasing high-quality productions of his original work while retaining all rights.
